Rejuvenation of the face, neck, and hands

Both the pleasures and the stresses of life take their toll and cause our skin to look older. Sun exposure, the major culprit of skin damage, only compounds the signs of aging.

At MedLasers we have the latest technology available to help you fill in fine lines and wrinkles.

If you are interested in a more youthful and healthy appearance, MedLasers can design a treatment specifically for you. Rejuvenation treatments are performed at the Academy Park location and initial consultations are always free. Call (720) 962-8267  to schedule your visit, or book your consultation now.

About the Procedure

At MedLasers we have treatments that can be performed in less than fifteen minutes and for as little as $100. Most treatments take 15 to 20 minutes. Of course, different problems require different treatments, and perhaps more than one laser. Generally, you will not need any sedation or local anesthetic prior to treatments. You can expect to resume all of your daily activities after the treatment, except direct sun exposure without sunblock.

During your initial consultation, we will take a brief medical history in order to make sure the treatments are safe for you. Your specific problems and desired results will then be discussed. Finally, an individualized treatment plan will be formed. You can expect your first treatment to begin immediately, if you desire. Generally, a digital picture will be taken before that first treatment. You can use that image to chart your progress, or even ask us to print it out to show a friend!.

FAQs

What is Skin Rejuvenation? This is a procedure done with the 1064 ND: YAG laser. This treatment can be done with no or minimal down time.

How does it work?

This near-infrared laser penetrates deeply into skin. The gentle heating of the dermis causes formation of collagen (the structure substance that we lose when we age). This firms the tissues from underneath and will lessen or eliminate fine wrinkles.

Is it painful?

This procedure is very tolerable and fast. Cold gel is then applied to the skin to keep it cool during treatment.

How many treatments are done? How far apart should the treatments be?

The number of treatments would depend on the skin condition. 4 weeks between each treatment are recommended.

Is there any downtime?

Patients may apply makeup immediately after treatment, but need to be cautious with any product usage for 24 hours. There should be no tanning for 24 hours before or after treatment. After treatment, brown spots may get darker and flake off (this is a good thing!), but may take a day or two. Sometimes it may even take up to the 2nd or 3rd treatment. Those patients with rosacea may appear more intense for 2 hours or so.

When can I expect results?

This all depends on the patient. Each patient and condition is different. Some patients will see results in one treatment, and it takes some patients 5 treatments to see results. There is not much downtime so we need to be patient with our expectations.

How much does it cost?

Introductory prices start at $250.

Will the various treatments alter my daily activities?

NO! All of our treatments are designed to avoid any burning or downtime. You can expect to return to your normal activities following your treatment.
